Sleep paralysis experience

Sleep paralysis is when your mind is a wake, but you can't move your body. Sometimes it feels like there is someone sitting on you or/and you see a figure standing next to your bed. Some think it is a demon or a being messing with you and others, it's nothing but, your mind playing a trick on you.

My own experience

The time when this event happened, was at the time where I was researching a lot about demons, the devil, spirits, the 7 princes of Hell. angels and so on. Sometimes while reading those stuff I pronounce their names out loud and more than once to get it right. There was a chance that I might have summoned a spirit or a demon. There were paranormal things that happened on the same year. For example; When I wake up or laying down on my bed. I hear a voice whispering. One time I was also checked by a woman who could see spirits and all those things. She told me that there were 3 little spirits, 3 ghosts and an Angel in my room. The little spirits are usually the ones playing with me. They weren't doing any harm. 

It happened on a Thursday morning. I think it was between 4 and 5 am. I remember waking up, gasping for air. It felt like there was someone pushing against my chest. It was difficult to see how the figure look like. Because, I was kind of in panic, I didn't know what to do, but scream. I remember my mouth was open and I was really trying to scream, hoping my parents could hear, but not a sound was made. And then it felt like the figure, the being was sucking something out of my body. I don't know what. Maybe it was my soul or energy? Eventually I could move and sat on my head, wondering what it was. Then I started to doubt if it happened.  The memory started to blur- that I couldn't choose if it was just a dream or not. Non-the less, I was angry at myself. I felt weak for screaming and not fighting back. I said to myself; next time if it happens, you fight back. In a way, I was challenging the creature to come back. And it did. Several days later I had it again. But this time, I remembered fighting back. I was pushing myself to move my body with everything I had. I didn't show him/her any fear like the last time, but anger. After that, it never happened again.

What is sleep paralysis?

Sleep paralysis is a feeling of being conscious but unable to move. occurs when a person passes between stages of wakefulness and sleep. During these transitions, you may be unable to move or speak for a few seconds up to a few minutes. During sleep, your body alternates between REM (rapid eye movement) and NREM (non-rapid eye movement) sleep. Once cycle of REM and NREM sleep last about 90 minutes. NREM sleep occurs first and takes up to 70 percent of your overall sleep time. During NREM sleep, your body relaxes and restores itself. At the end of NREM, your sleep shifts to REM. Your eyes move quickly and dreams occur, but the rest of your body relaxed. Your muscles are ''turned off'' during REM sleep. If you become aware before the REM cycle has finished, you may notice that you cannot move or speak. Then there the present of an evil creature standing or sitting on the body. An illusion that your own mind creates due fear. According to science. Humans are technically animals. Our mind, the ability to communicate, create and willing to think to do more than just the basic nature mindset of survival, sleeping, hunting and eat separates us from the other animals. Making us think; to be more superior than any other living creatures who cannot communicate through the tongue language (speaking with words). 

Then you have the believe of the supernatural. It can be a demon or evil spirits who is messing with you. Some even claim it to be the devil, which I strongly disagree. Because, when mentioning the devil, we are talking about the angel who rebelled against God, who made the first men doomed humanity until Jesus Christ died for our sins. Even then, we are still creating infinite of sins. The devil would not go and visit humans and do nothing. He would've killed you already or something. I do believe it would be a demon or a spirit.  It is also believed to be a vision of an evil to come.

My thoughts

I believe in God. Part of my family are Christian and other catholic. Being a follower of God (I rather call myself that than Christian or Rome catholic) I am open minded to other believes, which make me also believe in science. I believe that everything is connected in a way through layers of dimensions. Think of this. Sorry and apologize are two different words, but it means the same. Although science explains different than the bible (for example). It does sound strange to say that. But everything is more connected than you think. 

If it was a demon who was trying to suck my energy or soul out. Why am I still alive? if that was your question when you read my experience. I have no idea. Maybe my guardian angel saved me. Even though how much we learn and know. We are still like little children compared to the universe, who are wise men. Does it make sense? Probably not. The thing is, I don't know how to explain it better than this.
